Shotguns

You must be 18 to buy a shotgun from a licensed dealer. Bring a valid government photo ID. At pickup you fill out the ATF Form 4473 and we run the background check.

A pump or semi-auto 12 or 20 gauge with an 18 to 20 inch barrel is the most common choice. The Mossberg 590 and Maverick 88 are popular, affordable options.

Under federal law, a shotgun barrel must be at least 18 inches and the gun at least 26 inches overall. Anything shorter is a short-barreled shotgun (SBS), which is an NFA item. See our NFA guide.

Usually yes, in person, if the shotgun is legal in both Arizona and your home state. You can also order online and have it shipped to an FFL near you.

Out-of-stock guns can't be ordered online, but call us at (602) 715-2677. We may be able to get it from a distributor.
