Return & Refund Policy

Guns 2 Ammo wants every customer to understand our return, refund, exchange, cancellation, and warranty policies before completing a purchase. Firearms, ammunition, suppressors, NFA items, and certain shooting-related products are regulated products and therefore cannot always be returned or exchanged in the same manner as ordinary retail merchandise.

By purchasing from Guns 2 Ammo in-store, online, by telephone, through an invoice, or through any other sales channel, the customer agrees to the following terms.

1. Firearms

All Transferred Firearm Sales Are Final

Once a firearm has been legally transferred to the customer, the sale is final.

Firearms that have been transferred to the customer are not eligible for a traditional return, refund, or exchange, including for:

• Buyer's remorse
• Change of mind
• Finding the firearm cheaper elsewhere
• Purchasing the wrong caliber, model, barrel length, color, or configuration
• Discomfort with recoil, grip size, weight, trigger, sights, or ergonomics
• Firearm compatibility with accessories purchased elsewhere
• Cosmetic preferences discovered after the transfer
• A spouse, family member, or other person objecting to the purchase

Customers are responsible for inspecting and confirming the firearm's make, model, caliber, configuration, and condition before completing the transfer.

We strongly encourage customers to carefully inspect every firearm before leaving Guns 2 Ammo or accepting the firearm from a receiving FFL.

2. Defective New Firearms

A new firearm that appears to have a manufacturing defect is generally handled through the manufacturer's warranty process, not as a retail return.

Examples may include:

• Failure to feed
• Failure to extract
• Failure to eject
• Light primer strikes
• Mechanical failures
• Broken factory components
• Factory sight issues
• Manufacturing defects

Guns 2 Ammo will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in determining whether an issue should be handled by the manufacturer.

Depending on the manufacturer and circumstances, Guns 2 Ammo may assist with:

• Manufacturer contact information
• Warranty submission
• Shipping arrangements
• Factory repair coordination
• Receiving the repaired firearm
• Other warranty-related assistance

Any repair, replacement, refund, or other remedy remains subject to the applicable manufacturer's warranty and policies.

Guns 2 Ammo does not guarantee that a manufacturer will replace a firearm rather than repair it.

3. Manufacturer Replacement Firearms

When a manufacturer replaces a defective firearm, federal firearms regulations may govern how that replacement is documented and returned.

Guns 2 Ammo will process manufacturer replacement firearms in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.

Additional transfer requirements may apply depending upon whether the replacement firearm is considered the same kind and type as the original firearm and the circumstances of the replacement.

4. Used Firearms

Unless specifically stated otherwise in writing:

All Used Firearm Sales Are Final And Sold As-Is.

Customers are responsible for inspecting used firearms before completing the transfer.

Normal signs of use are not considered defects, including:

• Finish wear
• Holster wear
• Minor scratches
• Handling marks
• Carbon buildup
• Previous firing
• Minor cosmetic imperfections

Any warranty specifically offered on a used firearm must be stated in writing on the sales receipt or product listing.

Manufacturer warranties may or may not transfer to subsequent owners.

5. Consignment Firearms

All consignment firearm sales are final unless Guns 2 Ammo expressly states otherwise in writing.

Consignment firearms are typically sold in their existing condition and should be carefully inspected before purchase.

Manufacturer warranty coverage cannot be guaranteed.

6. Ammunition

All Ammunition Sales Are Final

For safety, storage, liability, and quality-control reasons, Guns 2 Ammo does not accept returns or exchanges of ammunition once it has left our control.

This includes:

• Factory ammunition
• Bulk ammunition
• Defensive ammunition
• Hunting ammunition
• Rimfire ammunition
• Shotgun ammunition
• Specialty ammunition
• Reloading components where applicable

Customers are responsible for verifying the correct:

• Caliber
• Gauge
• Chambering
• Cartridge
• Bullet type
• Projectile weight
• Intended firearm compatibility

before purchasing ammunition.

Damaged or Defective Ammunition

If ammunition appears to have a manufacturing defect, please contact Guns 2 Ammo and/or the ammunition manufacturer.

Guns 2 Ammo may assist with a manufacturer warranty claim but cannot guarantee a refund or replacement.

7. Nfa Items

This category includes products regulated under the National Firearms Act when applicable, including suppressors and other NFA-regulated firearms or devices.

Because NFA transactions involve special federal documentation and approval processes, NFA purchases are subject to additional restrictions.

Before Submission of Transfer Paperwork

If a customer cancels an NFA purchase before transfer paperwork has been submitted, Guns 2 Ammo may approve a cancellation subject to:

• A cancellation/restocking fee of up to 20%
• Any non-refundable third-party fees already incurred
• Credit-card or financing fees that cannot be recovered
• Shipping charges
• Special-order charges

After NFA Paperwork Has Been Submitted

Once NFA paperwork has been submitted, the transaction is considered committed.

Cancellation may be allowed only at Guns 2 Ammo's discretion and may be subject to:

• A 20% cancellation/restocking fee
• Non-refundable processing fees
• Third-party processing fees
• Shipping charges
• Any government fees that are not refundable
• Any other expenses already incurred by Guns 2 Ammo

Any cancellation must also comply with the applicable ATF process.

After NFA Transfer

Once an NFA item has been transferred to the customer, the sale is final.

Manufacturer defects will be handled through the applicable manufacturer warranty process.

8. Background Check Denials

A customer's inability to legally receive a firearm does not automatically void the underlying retail transaction without cost.

If a firearm transfer cannot be completed because the customer receives a final background-check denial, Guns 2 Ammo may cancel the transaction and refund the eligible purchase price less:

• A 20% cancellation/restocking fee
• Shipping charges
• Transfer expenses
• Special-order expenses
• Financing expenses
• Non-refundable third-party fees

The customer is responsible for resolving an erroneous denial through the appropriate government appeal or challenge process.

Guns 2 Ammo cannot change, override, or guarantee the outcome of a background-check decision.

9. Background Check Delays

A background-check delay is not a denial and does not automatically cancel the transaction.

Guns 2 Ammo reserves the right to hold the firearm until it determines that the firearm may legally and appropriately be transferred.

A customer who chooses to cancel a firearm purchase because of a background-check delay may be charged the applicable cancellation/restocking fee.

Guns 2 Ammo reserves the right not to complete any firearm transfer when, in our judgment, additional review is appropriate or where the transfer may violate applicable law.

10. Failed Or Abandoned Firearm Transfers

Customers are responsible for providing all required identification, residency documentation, permits, licenses, and other information necessary to complete their transfer.

If a customer cannot complete a firearm transaction because of:

• Invalid identification
• Expired identification
• Residency issues
• Incorrect purchaser information
• Failure to provide required documentation
• Legal ineligibility
• Failure to appear
• Failure to complete paperwork
• Failure to pick up the firearm

the order may be subject to cancellation and a 20% cancellation/restocking fee, plus applicable shipping, transfer, storage, and third-party fees.

11. Firearms Shipped To Another Ffl

Customers purchasing firearms online are responsible for selecting a receiving Federal Firearms Licensee who is legally able and willing to receive and transfer the firearm.

Before ordering, customers should verify:

• The receiving dealer will accept the firearm
• The firearm is legal in the customer's jurisdiction
• The receiving dealer's transfer fee
• Any state or local permits or waiting periods
• Magazine capacity restrictions
• Model or feature restrictions

If a firearm must be returned to Guns 2 Ammo because the receiving dealer or customer cannot complete the transaction, the customer may be responsible for:

• Original shipping
• Return shipping
• Insurance
• A 20% cancellation/restocking fee
• Receiving FFL fees
• Guns 2 Ammo administrative expenses

12. Firearms Shipped To The Wrong Or Unacceptable Ffl

Customers are responsible for supplying accurate receiving-FFL information.

Any costs resulting from incorrect or changed FFL information may be charged to the customer.

Firearms will only be shipped to a valid FFL when required by law.

13. Firearm Transfer Fees

FFL transfer fees, background-check-related service fees, administrative fees, NFA processing fees, and similar service charges are generally non-refundable once the service has been performed or processing has begun.

14. Special-Order Firearms And Products

Products ordered specifically for a customer are considered Special Orders.

Special orders may include:

• Firearms
• Suppressors
• Optics
• Specialty ammunition
• Parts
• Accessories
• Custom-configured products
• Distributor-order items
• Allocated or limited-production products

Special orders may require a deposit or full payment.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

Special-order deposits are non-refundable once Guns 2 Ammo has placed the order with the distributor, manufacturer, or supplier.

If Guns 2 Ammo agrees to cancel a special order, a cancellation/restocking fee of up to 20% may apply.

15. Accessories

Most unused and unopened firearm accessories may be returned within 30 days of purchase with the original receipt, subject to the conditions below.

The item must be:

• New
• Unused
• Uninstalled
• Unmodified
• In original packaging
• Complete with all parts
• Complete with manuals
• Complete with accessories
• In resalable condition

Refunds may be denied when merchandise does not meet these requirements.

16. Installed Firearm Parts

Parts that have been installed on a firearm are not returnable, except where Guns 2 Ammo determines that the product itself is defective.

This includes:

• Triggers
• Handguards
• Stocks
• Grips
• Barrels
• Muzzle devices
• Gas-system components
• Internal firearm components
• Sights
• Scope mounts
• Magazine extensions
• Springs
• Fire-control components

Installation marks, screw marks, Loctite, wear, modification, fitting, or gunsmithing generally make an item ineligible for return.

17. Optics, Red Dots & Electronics

Unopened optics and electronic products may generally be returned within 30 days, provided they remain new and resalable.

Once mounted, installed, activated, registered, or used, optics and electronics may be subject to the manufacturer's warranty rather than Guns 2 Ammo's return policy.

This includes:

• Rifle scopes
• Red-dot sights
• Reflex sights
• Thermal optics
• Night vision
• Rangefinders
• Electronic hearing protection
• Cameras
• Electronic shooting accessories

Defective products may be referred to the manufacturer.

18. Magazines

Unopened and unused magazines may generally be returned within 30 days, provided they are in original resalable condition.

Magazines that have been loaded, fired, modified, fitted, damaged, or otherwise used are not returnable.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that magazines are legal to possess in their jurisdiction.

19. Holsters

Unused holsters may generally be returned within 30 days if they remain in new, resalable condition.

Holsters showing wear, stretching, modification, cutting, heat-forming, mounting, or prolonged firearm insertion may not be accepted.

Customers are responsible for confirming firearm, optic, light, and accessory compatibility before purchase.

20. Clothing & Soft Goods

Unused clothing and soft goods may generally be returned or exchanged within 30 days with proof of purchase.

Items must be:

• Unworn
• Unwashed
• Undamaged
• Free from odors
• Free from pet hair
• Complete with original tags

Clearance or closeout clothing may be final sale.

21. Personal Protective & Hygiene Products

For health and hygiene reasons, certain opened or used products cannot be returned.

These may include:

• Earplugs
• In-ear hearing protection
• Certain electronic hearing protection
• Eye protection after substantial use
• Respiratory protection
• Masks
• Medical or trauma products
• Other hygiene-sensitive products

22. Cleaning Products, Chemicals & Aerosols

Opened cleaning chemicals, solvents, lubricants, adhesives, paints, aerosols, and similar products are not returnable.

Unopened products may be returned within the normal merchandise return period where legally permissible.

23. Reloading Components

For safety and quality-control reasons, the following items are generally final sale:

• Primers
• Powder
• Projectiles sold in opened containers
• Once-fired brass sold in bulk
• Other components whose storage or condition cannot be verified after leaving Guns 2 Ammo

Unopened non-hazardous components may be evaluated individually.

24. Clearance, Closeout & Liquidation Items

Items marked:

Clearance, Closeout, Liquidation, As-Is, Used, Demo, Final Sale

are not returnable unless Guns 2 Ammo specifically agrees otherwise in writing.

25. Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.

Lost or stolen gift cards may not be replaceable unless Guns 2 Ammo can verify the remaining balance and original transaction.

26. Range Fees

Range admission, lane rentals, firearm rentals, target charges, and similar services are generally non-refundable once the customer has checked in or begun using the service.

If Guns 2 Ammo must close the range or terminate a session because of an equipment or facility issue, management may issue an appropriate credit or refund at its discretion.

Customers removed from the range for:

• Unsafe firearm handling
• Violation of range rules
• Intoxication or impairment
• Threatening behavior
• Destructive behavior
• Failure to follow RSO instructions

are not entitled to a refund.

27. Firearm Rentals

Rental fees are non-refundable once the rental firearm has been issued.

Customers are responsible for damage caused by:

• Improper ammunition
• Unauthorized ammunition
• Negligent handling
• Intentional abuse
• Failure to follow staff instructions

Normal wear is excluded.

28. Training & Classes

Training courses, certifications, private instruction, and events may have separate cancellation policies disclosed during registration.

Unless a different policy is provided for a specific course, customer cancellations may be subject to a non-refundable deposit or cancellation fee.

Guns 2 Ammo may reschedule or cancel a class because of instructor availability, safety concerns, weather, facility issues, insufficient enrollment, or circumstances outside our control.

29. Memberships

Range memberships, initiation fees, monthly dues, prepaid membership periods, and membership benefits are governed by the applicable membership agreement.

Purchasing a membership does not create a right to a refund except as specifically stated in the membership agreement or required by law.

30. Layaways And Deposits

Layaway purchases and deposits are subject to the terms provided when the transaction is created.

Unless specifically stated otherwise:

• Deposits reserve the merchandise for the customer.
• Cancelled layaways may be subject to a cancellation/restocking fee.
• Special-order deposits may be non-refundable.
• Failure to complete the purchase within the agreed time may result in cancellation.

Any applicable refund will be reduced by authorized cancellation fees and expenses.

31. Online Order Cancellations

Orders should be reviewed carefully before submission.

Once an order has entered processing, Guns 2 Ammo cannot guarantee that it can be cancelled.

Firearm, ammunition, NFA, special-order, distributor-direct, allocated, and regulated-product orders may be subject to cancellation fees even if they have not yet shipped.

32. Shipping Charges

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable.

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless:

• Guns 2 Ammo shipped the wrong item; or
• Guns 2 Ammo determines that an error occurred on our part.

Firearms and other regulated products must be shipped in accordance with applicable law and Guns 2 Ammo instructions.

Customers should not ship a firearm to Guns 2 Ammo without contacting us first.

33. Return Authorization

Online customers should obtain authorization from Guns 2 Ammo before returning merchandise.

Unauthorized returns may be refused.

A return authorization does not guarantee that an item qualifies for a refund.

Eligibility will be determined after inspection.

34. Return Condition

Returned merchandise must include all original:

• Packaging
• Manuals
• Accessories
• Cables
• Batteries
• Tools
• Cases
• Mounts
• Hardware
• Promotional items

Missing or damaged materials may result in:

• Reduced refund
• Restocking fee
• Denial of the return

35. Proof Of Purchase

A valid Guns 2 Ammo receipt, invoice, or order record may be required for returns, exchanges, warranty assistance, and refunds.

Guns 2 Ammo may be able to locate purchases electronically but does not guarantee that every transaction can be reconstructed.

36. Refund Method

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original method of payment.

Cash refunds may be subject to cash availability.

Credit-card purchases will generally be refunded to the original card.

Processing times imposed by banks and payment processors are outside Guns 2 Ammo's control.

37. Credit-Card & Processing Fees

To the extent permitted by applicable law and payment-processing rules, non-refundable processing expenses already incurred by Guns 2 Ammo may be deducted from cancellations involving:

• Special orders
• Firearms
• NFA transactions
• Customer-requested order cancellations

Any fee charged will be disclosed as applicable.

38. Restocking Fees

A restocking/cancellation fee may apply when:

• A firearm order is cancelled
• A special order is cancelled
• An NFA transaction is cancelled
• A firearm is returned by a receiving FFL
• A customer cannot legally complete a transaction
• An item has already been ordered from a distributor
• Merchandise requires repackaging or inspection

Unless otherwise specified, the fee may be up to 20% of the purchase price.

The fee may be waived when the cancellation results directly from an error by Guns 2 Ammo.

39. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Customers should contact Guns 2 Ammo before initiating a payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to investigate and resolve the issue.

Initiating a chargeback does not alter the customer's obligations under this return and cancellation policy.

Guns 2 Ammo reserves the right to provide the applicable financial institution or payment processor with documentation relating to the transaction, including:

• Order information
• Signed receipts
• Shipping records
• Transfer records
• Customer communications
• Applicable policies
• Proof that merchandise or services were provided

Nothing in this section limits any lawful rights available to the customer.

40. Refusal Or Cancellation Of A Firearm Transaction

Guns 2 Ammo reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel a firearm or ammunition transaction when permitted by law, including where Guns 2 Ammo reasonably believes:

• The transaction may violate federal, state, or local law
• The purchaser may be prohibited
• The transaction may constitute a straw purchase
• Information provided by the purchaser is inaccurate or inconsistent
• Required identification is inadequate
• The purchaser appears intoxicated or impaired
• The purchaser demonstrates threatening or unsafe behavior
• Completing the transaction may create a safety or compliance concern

Our decision not to complete a transaction does not necessarily mean that the customer has committed a crime or is legally prohibited from possessing firearms.

41. Incorrect Website Information

Guns 2 Ammo makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate:

• Pricing
• Inventory
• Specifications
• Photographs
• Descriptions
• Availability

However, errors may occur.

Guns 2 Ammo reserves the right to cancel an order resulting from an obvious pricing, inventory, description, or system error.

A customer will receive a refund for amounts paid for an order that Guns 2 Ammo cancels because of such an error.

Product photographs may be representative, and manufacturer specifications may change without notice.

42. Legal Compliance

All firearm, ammunition, magazine, NFA, and regulated-product sales are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that a product can legally be purchased, received, possessed, transported, and used in the customer's jurisdiction.

Guns 2 Ammo will not knowingly transfer or ship regulated products where doing so would violate applicable law.

43. Policy Exceptions

Management may approve an exception to this policy in an individual circumstance.

An exception provided to one customer or transaction does not modify this policy or require Guns 2 Ammo to provide the same exception in another transaction.

Employee statements do not override this policy unless the exception is approved by authorized management.

44. Manufacturer Warranties

Guns 2 Ammo is a retailer and is not the manufacturer of the products it sells.

Product warranties are generally provided by the applicable manufacturer.

Manufacturer warranty terms vary significantly.

Guns 2 Ammo may assist customers with legitimate warranty issues but does not independently guarantee manufacturer warranty performance.

46. Contact Us Before Returning Regulated Products

DO NOT MAIL OR SHIP A FIREARM, AMMUNITION, SUPPRESSOR, NFA ITEM, POWDER, PRIMERS, OR OTHER REGULATED OR HAZARDOUS PRODUCT TO GUNS 2 AMMO WITHOUT CONTACTING US FIRST.

Shipping these products may be subject to federal carrier, hazardous-material, firearms, or other regulatory requirements.

Please contact Guns 2 Ammo for instructions before attempting a return.
