Rifle FAQ
You must be 18 to buy a rifle or shotgun from a licensed dealer. Bring a valid government photo ID with your current address. At pickup you fill out the ATF Form 4473 and we run the background check.
Usually yes. Federal law lets a dealer sell a rifle or shotgun in person to a resident of another state, as long as the gun is legal in both Arizona and your home state. You can also order online and have it shipped to an FFL near you.
Yes, to a licensed FFL dealer. Some states restrict certain rifles or magazine sizes, and checkout only offers what can legally go to your state.
Most people do well with a 16-inch 5.56/.223 from an established maker, with a free-float handguard and a flat-top rail for an optic. Our staff can walk you through the differences in person.
For deer, .243, 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 are all popular. For elk, most hunters step up to .30-06, 7mm or a .300 magnum. Check Arizona Game and Fish rules for your hunt.
Out-of-stock guns can't be ordered online, but call us at (602) 715-2677. We may be able to get it from a distributor and let you know when it arrives.
